ToolProof publishes practical guides to AI and everyday tech tools: how to use a new feature, how to fix an error that stops you, and how to choose between tools that look alike.

Most "news" about a new AI feature tells you that it launched. We focus on what comes next: where the setting actually is, what the free plan really includes, what to do when it doesn't work, and whether it is worth switching.

What we cover

• AI tools: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Perplexity, and the AI features built into the apps you already use
• Apps and software: browsers, operating systems, and productivity apps, especially right after a big update changes how they work

How we check our guides

• We run it ourselves where we can. If a tool, command, or website can be tested directly, we test it on a current version and write down exactly what happened, including the steps that did not work.
• We cite primary sources. Feature details, plan limits, and prices come from official documentation, release notes, and pricing pages, and we link to them so you can check.
• We say what we could not test. Some features are limited to a paid plan, a region, or a specific device. When a step comes from documentation rather than our own test, the article says so.
• We update instead of guessing. AI tools change quickly. When a feature, price, or menu changes, we update the guide and its "Updated" date.

ToolProof is an independent site. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or paid by OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Microsoft, Apple, or any other company we write about. Product names and logos belong to their owners.

The site is supported by display advertising. Advertisers have no say in what we write, and we do not accept payment for coverage.
